Day cruises

Day cruise means that the departure is in the morning and return in the same evening during one day. You will have a whole day to spend in Tallinn. You can spend your day shopping or having a nice dinner in one of the numerous restaurants. You can also wander around in the Old town looking at the sights of Tallinn. Only sky is the limit! Here are few tips what to do during the day.

Shopping:

In the centre of Tallinn there’s Viru keskus (Viru väljak 4, http://www.virukeskus.com) where you will find numerous restaurants and coffee shops as well as many clothing stores.

If you are already bored to visit Viru keskus every time you visit Tallinn, a good choice for you would be Kristiine keskus (Endla 45, http://www.kristiinekeskus.ee). This shopping centre is just right outside the city centre.

Places to visit:

Tallinn Zoo (Paldiski mnt. 145, http://www.tallinnzoo.ee) is situated in the beautiful and green area of Veskimetsa. There are over 350 different kind of species in the zoo. You can get there by trolley bus number 6.

District of Kadriorg is one of the most beautiful areas in Tallinn. There are magnificent parks and gardens as well as numerous art museums. Kadriorg district is situated in the eastern Tallinn, here you can get by trams 1 and 3 from Viru keskus. The well-known art museum Kumu is also in Kadriorg.

The Old town in Tallinn itself is a sight. Old town is part of UNESCO world heritage list. There are numerous sights in the Old town such as Town Hall and Town Hall Square, Oleviste Church, Aleksander Nevski Cathedral and City wall.
